Projektleiter Dean Hall und sein Entwicklerteam haben das neue DayZ-Update offiziell freigegeben. Wir verraten euch, welche Neuerungen ihr zu erwarten habt und welche Fehler ab sofort nicht mehr in der Standalone-Version zu finden sein sollten.
Wie angekündigt hat das Entwicklerteam von DayZ Standalone am heutigen Mittwoch Patch 0.45.124426 veröffentlicht, nachdem es mehrere Woche lang keine neuen Updates zum Survival-Titel gegeben hat. Das rund 700 MB große Update wird beim nächsten Start von Steam automatisch heruntergeladen. Neben den Behebungen von Fehlern hat Bohemia Interactive erneut zahlreiche Neuerungen eingeführt, die bisher lediglich auf experimentellen Servern vorhanden waren.
Unter anderem können Spieler ab sofort an Salmonellose erkranken, wobei die Einnahme von Antibiotika eine Heilungsmöglichkeit darstellt. Weiterhin erhält das Jagdsystem Einzug in die Standalone-Version. Dazu können ab sofort Tiere wie Hirsche, Schweine und Kühe erlegen und über einem Lagerfeuer braten. Weiterhin lassen sich nun Fische in Seen und Flüssen finden, um einen solchen zu fangen benötigt ihr einen Wurm sowie eine Angelrute. Doch damit nicht genug. In Wäldern könnt ihr nun Holz und in der Nähe von Felsblöcken Stein gewinnen.
Weiterhin besteht nun die Möglichkeit die AKM stark zu modifizieren und etwa ein größeres Magazin anzubringen. Zwar erwarten uns mit dem Patch keine neuen Waffen, dafür neue Kleidung, wie etwa die Chernarus Police Uniform.
