Entwickler Valve hat in der Nacht ein neues Update für den Taktikshooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive veröffentlicht. Neben einigen Gameplay-Verbesserungen wurde vor allem die Map Cobblestone drastisch überarbeitet – zum Besseren.
Nach herber Kritik seitens der Community von Counter-Strike: Global Offensive reagiert Entwickler Valve nun mit Änderungen an der umstrittenen Map Cobblestone. Zahlreiche Verbesserungen sollen die Karte für das kompetitive Spiel wieder zugänglicher machen.
Neben einigen geringfügigen Änderungen am A-Bombenplatz sowie der weiteren Umgebung der Map wurde vor allem der B-Bombenspot heftig abgeändert und soll die CT-Seite fortan abschwächen. Eine verkleinerte Karte soll zudem Fakes und Rushes sowie Retakes ausbauen.
Zudem hat Valve einige Fehler behoben und die Audiotechnik überarbeitet, damit Spieler Schritte und Geräusche präziser als bislang aus machen können. Eine vollständige Auflistung der Patchnotes gibt es unten.
