Valve hat ein neues Update für seinen Steam Client veröffentlicht. Die zuvor lediglich für Beta-Tester zugänglichen Funktionen Broadcasting und der FPS-Counter sind ab sofort fest in das Programm integriert.
Entwickler Valve hat ein neues Update für seinen Steam-Client veröffentlicht, das ab sofort automatisch bei allen Nutzern heruntergeladen wird. Neben zahlreichen Bugfixes wurden auch neue Funktionen fest in das Programm implementiert.
So gehören Steam Broadcasting und der FPS-Zähler ab sofort zum Client, bislang waren sie lediglich für Mitglieder des Beta-Testprogramms verfügbar. Das erstgenannte Feature ermöglicht die Übertragung eurer Videospiele durch einen Livestream, während euch letzteres den Einsatz von Third-Party-Tools wie FRAPS zum Zählen eurer Framerate erspart.
